The Associated Hearing Team
Our practice is proud to serve the hearing needs of the Metairie and Covington communities. We’re local, independent, and most of all, patient-oriented in the way we deliver our care. Your satisfaction is our highest commitment.
Because provider-patient relationships are crucial to creating better hearing outcomes, we pride ourselves in our ability to truly connect with our patients, so that we’re not only delivering great hearing care, but we’re delivering the care, service, and technology that each individual needs for their particular way of life.
That spirit has been at the heart of our practice ever since it was started 40 years ago by our owner and founder, Dr. Dan Bode. His unique approach and his kind demeanor — a perspective shared by our entire team — is the reason patients keep coming back to us year after year.
Thank you for choosing Associated Hearing for your hearing needs. It’s our honor to serve you, and our pleasure to have you in our better hearing community.

Daniel P. Bode, Au.D., FAAA
AudiologistDr. Bode is the founder and director of Associated Hearing. He has provided quality audiologic care to thousands of individuals for more than 40 years. With years of practice experience, Dr. Bode is nationally recognized as an expert in the field of both clinical and forensic audiology. His certifications in audiology, deaf education, and speech pathology have proven useful in serving patients of all ages with hearing loss.
Dr. Bode’s unique approach to hearing care involves close, personal contact with patients at every phase of their journey to better hearing. His belief in providing “remarkable” hearing healthcare has evolved into a concierge care approach, often traveling to non-ambulatory patient’s homes to provide diagnostic testing and follow-up care.
Dr. Bode is a leader in advancing the study and work of audiologic care, and he couples this with mentorship of new audiologist fellows to develop the newest generation of healthcare providers. Other leadership interests involve the Boy Scouts of America and the American Red Cross. Dr. Bode is most proud of his three successful children and he is also blessed with four grandsons and two granddaughters.
We truly love working with our patients to help them hear and feel their best, and through our unique combination of compassionate care, commitment to service, ongoing training on the latest, most-effective technology, and clear, thorough, and considerate communication, Associated Hearing has built a track record of success.
Associated Hearing is local, independent, and patient-oriented. We pride ourselves on creating a patient community based on honesty, integrity, and value. When you’re a patient here, you’re a friend, and you’re always welcome. That’s why so many of our patients return to us year after year for their hearing needs.
An appointment at Associated Hearing isn’t just another doctor’s visit. Our practice has a professional, but comfortable atmosphere, just as it should be. You can come in, relax, and have a cup of coffee and a warm conversation with us while we adjust your hearing aids. Better hearing is born out of partnership. And we’re proud to have the opportunity to partner with you.
