Invisible-in-Canal (IIC)
Invisible-In-Canal hearing aids are well-loved by many wearers because they offer a discrete, barely noticeable appearance when worn. But it’s not just their appearance, it’s also their performance. IIC devices have advanced noise processing capabilities that make them the ideal technology for folks who find themselves in a variety of listening situations.
Completely-in-Canal (CIC)
Completely-In-Canal hearing aids specially molded to fit the unique shape of your ear canals, giving you a snug, comfortable fit, and also a look that is extremely subtle. Their processors are versatile, making them suitable for a variety of hearing losses, but aren’t perfect for folks who have dexterity issues, due to their small size.
In-the-Canal (ITC)
In-the-Canal hearing aids are loved by folks who wear eyeglasses, given that there are no parts worn behind the ear. These subtle devices can also cause challenges for those with dexterity issues, but typically have more manual adjustment capabilities than smaller custom devices. ITCs, like CICs, are molded to fit perfectly in your ear’s unique shape.
In-the-Ear (ITE)
One of the larger custom-molded devices available, ITEs usually have a longer battery life than some of their smaller custom counterparts. These unique devices provide the wearer with power and comfort, making them a great choice for all-day wear.
Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)
RIC hearing aids are some of the most flexible and reliable on the market. The shells of these devices are worn behind the ear, with a soft, silicone-tipped receiver worn in the ear canal. Though extremely lightweight, their size offers greater durability and range of features than many smaller devices.
